Saturday 13th Loooooong lazy Saturday, arrived in the studio around 4 PM where Joshua had one of those songs, that perhaps wouldn't make it to the new CD, up for mixing – We called up Laust and Cobber and sang hooligan choir in the chorus: Chainsaw! – see how it shines, Chainsaw, I'm gonna cut out a living – I'm gonna cut out your kind!! – Very enjoyable, especially when the studio assistant found a megaphone in the lockers and we could record a track with the characteristic earsplitting noise... Went home and pretended I was an asset for the family – put our son to bed and filled the dishwasher – and was back in the studio by 11 PM where Josh and Laust had taken the title of the song (chainsaw) too literally, and given EVERYTHING, – drums, background vocals, guitar and lead vocal, – a distorted teethsplintering sound which hurt my otherwise not delicate ears...Fortunately together we found a compromise, and it sounded, finally, insanely great...Wonder if this number ends up on the CD anyway... At home at 2 AM. zzzz
