Drenched my car in gasoline
And I went racing down the street
I got lights, police and sirens
To take me from
This life and into the next

I'm definitely going with 'Evil Twin'.

It's a crazy, insane, adrenaline-fuelled, mental, energized song.

When waiting for a band to come on stage that you LOVE, that's how you feel!

To me, it's their PERFECT opening song.

But then, so is Reconstrucdead. And Lawrence is too.

D-A-D just have too many genius songs to choose from.

Aren't we lucky?? Smiley

Lawrence Of Suburbia. Before that was revealed Evil Twin was my favorite opener. Reconstrucdead is for me a mid/late-set song.

Isn't that wild or evil twin, really hard to choose

Isn't that wild is just soo thrill building with the drum solo at first and then cool rough guitar.

Evil Twin has an amasing energy that just make me wanna jump and screem my lungs out

Agree with Bach that recon is more of a middle song. It often has a little story attached by Jesper and that would not be possible if it was song #1. Gotta love those comments: "what does a truck say in reverse..beep beep beep", or We've got the copenhagen sound with us today... would you like to hear it?" Smiley

I would vote for recon.

But some songs I would love to se them try starting with, is:
- True believer
- Ill Will
- No one answers
- Everything glows

I know that most of the songs would be rarely known amongst most of the audience, but still.

Lawrence of Suburbia has an amazing sound, Evil Twin and especially nineteenhundredandyesterday because of its breathtaking riff.

There nothing as good as a D-A-D concert, how I miss it..

Gatta agree with Morten C about the Everything Glows, if I was standing at a concert and hearing those drums without the lights on I would burst. Those drums gives me the chills everytime I hear them.

But the once i have heard live so far it must defo be Evil Twin
